Please read this End User License Agreement ("Agreement") carefully before using ChopChopGo ("the App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using ChopChopGo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the App.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ChopChopGo for your personal, non-commercial use.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You may be required to create an account to access certain features of the App. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided is inaccurate, fraudulent, or violates this Agreement.

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any recipes, images, notes, or other content you create or upload to the App ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App's services.

4.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to use and share your content
• Your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws
• Your content is not illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable

4.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates this Agreement or is otherwise objectionable, without prior notice.

5. Recipe Imports and Third-Party Content

5.1 Web Scraping

The App may allow you to import recipes from third-party websites. You agree to:

• Only import recipes from websites that permit such access
• Respect the intellectual property rights of recipe authors and website owners
• Use imported recipes solely for personal, non-commercial purposes

5.2 Third-Party Rights

Recipes imported from third-party sources remain the property of their respective owners. You acknowledge that we do not claim ownership of such content and are not responsible for its accuracy or legality.

6. Privacy and Data Collection

6.1 Data Collection

We collect and process your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to such collection and processing.

6.2 Device Information

When you accept this Agreement, we collect certain device information including:

• Device type and model
• Operating system and version
• App version
• IP address (when available)
• Acceptance timestamp

This information is collected for security, legal compliance, and service improvement purposes.

7. Subscription and Payments

7.1 Subscription Services

Certain features of the App may be available through paid subscriptions. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing are managed through third-party payment processors (Apple App Store, Google Play Store).

7.2 Billing

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's account settings

7.3 Refunds

Refund requests are subject to the policies of the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App without permission
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Collect or harvest information about other users
• Violate any third-party intellectual property rights

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Our Rights

The App, including its design, features, functionality, and all content provided by us (excluding User Content), is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9.2 Trademarks

ChopChopGo and related logos are our trademarks. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

9.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions about the App, we may use such feedback without any obligation to you.

10. Disclaimers

10.1 No Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10.2 Recipe Accuracy

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of any recipes provided through the App, whether created by users or imported from third parties. You use recipes at your own risk.

10.3 Availability

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the App
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your personal information
• Any interruption or cessation of the App
• Any bugs, viruses, or harmful code transmitted through the App
• Any errors or omissions in content or recipes
• Any User Content or third-party content

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ChopChopGo, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of this Agreement
• Your User Content
• Your violation of any rights of third parties

13. Modifications to Agreement

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Requiring re-acceptance when you next use the App (for major or minor version updates)
• Posting the updated Agreement within the App
• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Agreement

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Agreement.

14. Termination

14.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or deleting your account through the App settings.

14.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include:

• Violation of this Agreement
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Prolonged inactivity
• At our sole discretion

14.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. We may delete your User Content and account information, though some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1 Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15.2 Arbitration

Any disputes arising from this Agreement or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement or violations of confidentiality obligations.

15.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that any arbitration or legal proceeding shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class action, consolidated action, or representative action.

16. General Provisions

16.1 Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersedes all prior agreements.

16.2 Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of this Agreement will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

16.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer this Agreement or your rights under it without our prior written consent. We may assign this Agreement without restriction.

16.5 No Third-Party Beneficiaries

This Agreement does not create any third-party beneficiary rights.
